Keynote Speaker:Jiang Tao
Speaker Introduction: Jiang Tao was graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in Computer Science and Technology in July 1984, and received his doctoral degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in November 1988. He is currently a professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering at UCR; a member of UCR Institute of Integrated Genomics; a member of the Plant Cell Biology Center; a chief scientist of the Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology; a chair professor of Thousand Talents Program at Tsinghua University. He is mainly interested in combinatorial algorithm, computational molecular biology, bioinformatics, and information retrieval and calculation. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)and American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and served as the president's chair professor at UCR from 2007-2010. He has published more than 280 papers in journals and conferences concerning computer science and bioinformatics, and won the Best Paper Award for several times.
