Title: Restricted independence in displacement function for estimating cyclicity
Keynote Speaker: Chen Xingwu
Abstract:
Since the independence of focal values is a sufficient condition to give a number of limit cycles arising from a center-focus equilibrium, in this paper we consider a restricted independence to a parametric curve, which gives a method not only to increase the lower bound for the cyclicity of the center-focus equilibrium but also to be available when those focal values are not independent.
Introduction to the Speaker:
Chen Xingwu, received a doctorate in science from Sichuan University in 2007, is now a professor and doctoral supervisor of Sichuan University and a commentator of Mathematical Reviews of American Mathematical Society. He mainly studies the qualitative theory of differential equations and bifurcation theory and application.
