Title: Exponential Time Differencing for Solving Phase-Field Equation
Keynote Speaker: Qiao Zhonghua
Abstract:
Exponential time difference (ETD) is a kind of highly efficient time discretization method for studying differential equations. Based on the time integral construction approximation scheme of exponential integral factor, ETD includes multi-step method and Runge-Kutta (RK) method. Refer to the literature review for a more complete discussion and analysis of ETD schemes [M. Hochbruck and A. Ostermann. Exponential Integrators. Acta Numer., 19:209-286, 2010]. Only several ETD schemes and their applications in the numerical calculation of phase-field model.
