Lecturer: Gao Hongjun
Abstract:In this talk, we will talk about our recent results about the averaging principle for a stochastic coupled slow-fast atmosphere-ocean model and homogenization of stochastic reaction-diffusion equations with singular perturbation term.
Introduction to the Lecturer:Gao Hongjun is a professor and doctoral tutor of School of Mathematics, Southeast University. He acts as the editorial board member ofStochastics and Dynamicsand deputy director of the Key Laboratory of "Numerical Simulation of Large-scale Complex Systems" in Colleges and Universities of Jiangsu Province. In 1994, he received his doctorate in science from the Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics in Beijing. At present, his main research focuses on stochastic partial differential equations and their dynamics. He enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council, has won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry and the second prize in natural science of the Ministry of Education. He was selected as the young and middle-aged academic leader of the "Blue Project" in Jiangsu Province, the high-level talent of the "333" Program in Jiangsu Province and the leader of the scientific and technological innovation team of the "Blue Project" in Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 190 papers in important journals at home and abroad, includingAdv. Math.,SIAM J. Math. Anal.,SIAM J. Appl. Dynamical Sys.,JLMS,JDEandScience China. He has presided over many fund programs including key programs of NSFC, participated in 973 projects, and currently presided over general programs of NSFC.
