Lecturer: Huang Xinyi
Abstract:
SM9 is a self-designed identification and password algorithm in China. It has been completely incorporated into ISO/IEC international standards and can effectively meet the common security requirements of information systems. In addition, the password demand for emerging information systems such as cloud computing and blockchain has evolved from "security protection" to "security and multi-function". Functional passwords have become an important part of information systems. This report will briefly review the security proof of SM9 series algorithms, introduce the functional passwords derived from SM9, such as broadcast encryption, signcryption and searchable encryption, and discuss the future research direction.
