Abstract:
The series related to π is closely related to p-adic congruence, elliptic integral and q-series, hypergeometric series, modular form, etc. The series are colorful, mysterious and fascinating, so they have attracted widespread attention from mathematicians. The online series of reports includingMysterious π Seriescomprehensively describes the reporter's understanding of π-series for more than ten years, and reveals how he found many new π - series based on his new ideas. This report discloses the context of many findings and guides young teachers or graduate students to understand π-series and related mathematics.
Session I: classic Ramanujan 1/π series and congruence inversion technique
The report in this session first introduces the classical Ramanujan 1/ π series and the corresponding p-adic congruence, and expounds the first generation of philosophy on 1/ π series formed by the reporter. Then it reveals how the reporter transformed the divergent Ramanujan series into convergent π series through the congruence reversal technique.
