Topic: Modeling and simulation for the functional distribution of nonergodic diffusion with multiple internal states
Speaker: Deng Weihua
Abstract: This talk briefly introduces the ubiquitous natural phenomena: nonergodic diffusion, and its various applications. Then we discuss the microscopic models describing the nonergodic diffusion and derive the PDEs governing the probability density function of some useful/interesting statistical obsevables(say, functionals). Finally, we talk about the numerical issues for the newly derived PDEs.
