Keynote Speaker: Yu Qinglin
Speaker Introduction: Yu Qinglin, a professor in Department of Mathematics of Thompson Rivers University, has long been focused on scientific research in discrete mathematics, operations research, and industrial application of mathematics, and has obtained numerous research findings. As one of the few recognized authoritative scholars in this field, his findings in expansion matching have been cited by later scholars. Over the years, he has presided over 11 national natural science research projects in Canada, participated in one of the major scientific research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and Ministry of Science and Technology respectively, won TRU University Outstanding Research Achievement Award for four times, TRU University Lifetime Achievement Award (Master Scholar) in 2015, and Microsoft MEC Award by the medical resource management software jointly developed with eOptimize in 2001, and nominated TSM Environmental Excellence Award by the research project co-developed with Teck Group.
